Bartrop and Dilks Property Services have re-introduced a Home Exchange scheme to encourage homeowners to consider ‘swapping’ homes with one another to get them moving quicker by cutting out long chains where move dates were consistently being rearranged due to the number of sellers and purchasers involved within the chain and we are excited to announce that the response from customers has been overwhelming with many sellers seeing this as another option to enable them to move with very little stress involved.
“With the housing market and whole economy proving a testing time for sellers, we decided to try and eliminate some chains by re-introducing a scheme that gives sellers the opportunity to swap suitable properties. We introduced Home Exchange back in 2009 when the housing market was struggling. We were so pleased with the number of inquiries we had but more importantly with how many sales we agreed. Because of Home Exchange, we were selling at such a high rate that more for-sale properties were needed.
