On 1st October 2023, I am proud to announce that we will now be covering Retford and Surrounding Villages with a dedicated and experienced team already in place for our official opening.
Becky Ward and Angela Crosby will be heading up our Retford Branch and have a wealth of experience within the industry having worked for the company for many years. Their knowledge along with their passion to succeed will be transferred to Retford to deliver a first-class home moving experience.
Bartrop and Dilks was formed 15 years and we have seen the growth of this office go from just one member of staff back in 2008 to now consistently being ranked the ‘Number One Agent’ in the town. We have 11 award winning and local people in our team based at our head office on Bridge Street.
Many people raised their eyebrows when we announced that we were opening back in 2008 with the general feel that it was the wrong time given the condition of the housing market and what was lying ahead with the economy. However, I believed in our ability to succeed and make a name for ourselves in a tough market and I am pleased to say we have achieved this by becoming the leading estate agent in the town 6 years ago. The economy in 2023 feels very much the same as 2008, different challenges but still a tough market. Yet by hiring the best people in the business, we feel fully equipped to deal with any challenges that lie ahead.
As a business owner, moving to Retford excites me. We have always wanted growth and I see this as the start of that process that may open new doors to further expansion over the coming years.
We have always been careful in the speed of our growth to make sure the service levels remain where they should be and by employing experienced local people this has helped with consistent 5 star reviews from our clients. We intend to invest more into the business and we are already busy behind the scenes sourcing new staff to complement the current team.
Becky and Angela are looking forward to the new challenge and like me are also excited in meeting new clients.
